Mountain Sun Counseling

Shawna Henry, MA, LPCC, NCC

Hello, I am so glad you are here.

My name is Shawna and I know first hand that counseling can be intimidating and I applaud you in taking the courageous step to look for a counselor. I believe life is a unique journey, and each one of us carries a story that is entirely our own. Our stories can be both beautiful and contain deeply painful wounds and areas in which we’ve lost our ways. I am dedicated to supporting you every step of the way.

Together, we will explore the depths of your unique narrative, discovering the strengths, and resilience of your authentic self. Using a client-centered approach I offer a safe and non-judgmental space where you are welcome to show up freely as you are. We can work together to gain the insight and tools needed to overcome obstacles, heal from past wounds, and chart a course towards a more authentic, fulfilling life.

I have a passion for working with clients struggling with body image issues, eating disorders, anxiety, substance use troubles and trauma. Regardless of your circumstance or struggle it would be an honor to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
